Vintage Decorated Metal Rolling Ink Blotter, Desk Top Style

This ink blotter is heavy, weighing 4 ounces on my postage scale.  I do not know the type of metal, a magnet will not stick to it.  It is a silver color, is not marked Sterling, may be silverplate.  It has a decorative knob.  The sides also have an ornate pattern.  There is a marking on one of the short sides, it is an oval with a large "K" in the center, and what appears to be "& Co"on either side of the "K". Perhaps you know the maker.  The blotter is unused & a little loose on one end.  I have not polished it, leaving the original patina for the buyer to decide.  It measures approximately 4 1/4" wide, 2 1/4" wide on the other side, and 2 1/4" high to the top of the knob.  Free shipping is not included in this item due to weight.
