This lovely locket has engraving on both sides so that there is always decoration showing whether the locket is turned or not. The bale is original to the locket and has matching engraving. The locket, itself, measures 7/8" round but with the bale measures 1-1/2". The locket is marked .925 to indicate that it is sterling silver as is the chain which measures approximately 17-1/2". We did not clean the inside of the locket as it retains remnants of its original pale blue paper with gold glitter on the left side. The right side is ready to glue your favorite picture inside.
