Antique Silver Plate by The Acme Silver Company / Xmas 1893
The Acme Silver Company is the maker of this Antique Silver plate. The inscription engraved inside the shield says "Ina DeRomker Xmas 1893". Silverplated cup - German, Art Nouveau design
This graceful cup was made by WMF, a company that began in Germany in 1880. They produced numerous silver pieces in their own designs, many in the Art Nouveau and Art Deco styles. This well-preserved cup has no dents; it measures 2 and 1/2 inches high, with the rim diameter also 2 and 1/2 inches. Very few tiny areas of discoloration where the plate is worn.
