Vintage Pewter ? Turtle Trinket or Pill Box

This little box comes from an estate and is obviously very old. Measures a little over 2" long this turtle is on the move. Heavily textured shell is hinged and lifts to a shallow compartment that could have been used for pills or maybe rouge. Inside is painted or enameled in a pale blue.
