Pancake Style Goldtone Compact

This vintage compact is pancake style 4" in diameter. Textured and polished goldtone it has the initials FAM in the center top. Mirror ok and puff included. Slight wear where powder was once held, but could be cleaned up. Nice design and in very good condition. I could not locate any manufacture name on this compact. This is a nice looking compact, the top has etched leaves and what appears to be a flower in the center of each set of three leaves. The reverse side is plain with only a few very light scratches. This vintage compact is not marked on the case that I can find. It does have a puff that has a faded label part of it Fifth Ave New York. There is some powder remaining. The compact measures 2-1/2" in diameter and is 1/2" thick. It has a black enamel rim on the top surrounding an engraved floral design. The back is a kind of cross-hatch design.
