Nice pair of cloth souvenir dolls from the Phillipines, date from the 1960's. Man and woman, both colorfully dressed in traditional clothing; man is holding a chicken and the woman is playing the guitar. Cloth over wire armature with stands attached to feet. Norah Wellings -- Canberry Sailor Cloth Doll

Hand made NorahWelling "Canberry Sailor" from the 1950's that is quite collectible. Most of these dolls were sold aboard cruise liners -- probably one of the Queen Mary's. The doll has a velour sailor's suite and cotton sailor's hat. Muslim molded face, black and blue eyes. Overall, in good condition all things considered, but certainly showing some age.... more
